The referral is written by your health clinic or (after 22.00) the centralized Accident & Emergency Clinic of the central hospital.

A doctor considering a referral always consults the psychiatric outpatient clinic’s doctor during office hours or, outside office hours, the doctor in emergency duty by phone.

During office hours, emergency examinations and inpatient admittances are done at the psychiatric clinic, open Mon-Fri 8.00–16.00, tel. 323 2392.

The doctor in psychiatric emergency duty outside office hours usually arrives to the hospital from home.
