Vaasa Central Hospital is located in Hietalahti between the sea and the town swimming hall, at the address Hietalahdenkatu 2–4.

You can use the mapservice maintained by the town of Vaasa to see the exact location of the hospital. (You can zoom the map in and out with the magnifying class, the site contains detailed instructions.)

The Day Surgery Unit can be found in the map of the Central Hospital (pdf-file, opens in a new window).

Patients usually arrive at the Day Surgery Unit A2 (A wing, 2nd floor), near the main entrance. When you come inside from the main door, turn right in the main lobby, right again on the next corridor, and up the stairs to the second floor. The entrance to the Day Surgery Unit is on the left, immediately beside the elevators.

NOTE!

Remember that parking time is limited on most car parks near the main entrance, and also remember your parking disc! If you need a parking space for a longer time period, a large car park is located in the area next to the swimming hall (entrance from the right hand side of the swimming hall, car park is found also on the right hand side). However, remember that driving is forbidden after surgery.
