You can submit the required samples, such as blood and urine samples, at the laboratory. It is a part of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory. The laboratory is on the first floor of the B wing, in Hietalahti.

Our laboratory provides sampling services for hospitals, primary health care, occupational health care and private sector patients. A referral is required for laboratory examinations.

It is important that you follow your instructions regarding laboratory examinations. You have been given these instructions because several factors, such as eating, physical strain, tobacco, alcohol and medication, may affect the results. Many examinations also require fasting since the previous evening before submitting the sample.
