Patients rights and patient safety
Patient has a right to be treated and handled well and respectfully. The healthcare has to be organized so that it does not violate patient's human value, beliefs or privacy. Patient's mother tongue, culture and needs will be paid attention to when possible. When treating children, the needs of the whole family will be taking into consideration.
Patient ombudsman helps and advises patients who want to file a complaint for not being satisfied with the care they have gotten.
