Cases of Acute Illness

Accident & Emergency Clinic treats patients who have been given an urgent referral from a health clinic or a doctor’s office. Serious and life-threatening patients are attended around the clock without referral. More information on Accident & Emergency >>

Other Patients

A patient comes to an outpatient clinic from a health clinic, an occupational health clinic, or with a private doctor’s referral. The referral is delivered to the clinic, where it is processed and the patient gets a consultation time slot depending on the case’s urgency. The consultations are either at Vaasa Central Hospital or Selkämeri Hospital.
