Prenatal class at the hospital
Prenatal classes are arranged both at the hospital and online!
The prenatal class is meant for you who are expecting your first child. The best time to attend the class is from pregnancy week 32 onwards. The class is held by a midwife working at the delivery ward. It gives you information about the different stages of labor and you practice breathing- and relaxationexercises.
Please, register for the class through the links below. There you also see if the class is held at the hospital or online. The program will tell you if the class is fully booked. Please, notice that you will not receive any confiration message after registering - so keep track fo the date you have registered for. If you have registered but are unable to attend, we would appreciate it if you notify us before the class is held by sending an e-mail to email@example.com. Prental classes at the hospital:
The class is held from 2 pm–4 pm at Vaasa central hospital. Gathering inside the main entrance. Prenatal classes in the hospital is held in small groups. We present the delivery unit by showing pictures. Please, notice that in order to attend the class you should not have any symptoms of flu, and you should not have been abroad during the last two weeks before the class. During the class, all attendants wear face masks - please bring your own with you!
Prenatal classes online:
Every now and then we also arrange online classes through teams. These are especially suitable if you live further away, the classes at the hospital are fully booked or you otherwise prefer to attend online. You will receive an invitationlink to your emailadress at the latest on the day when the class is arranged. The class is held from 2 pm–4 pm.
